Got a PS3 controller (which it supports natively) and hooked my MBP up to the TV with HDMI and … THIS IS AWESOME. Great music and sound, fantastic gameplay, very exciting and engaging. Well worth it. DO IT.

Excellent game, playing on late 2012 Mac Mini with a PS3 controller. Highly recommended, graphics, gameplay, and the fluid of gameplay is top notch. WIsh there were more games like this that support controller support. A++++ Must Buy.

was running two screens - this app took over and killed one of them set whole system to flashing. when deleted app second monitor worked again. Something wrong here suggest you do not buy.

I should have been in bed two and a half hours ago. Instead, Im playing some stupid game called Air Attack. If youre wondering, its a remake of 1942 - on steroids. The graphics are amazing, great musical score . . . and it keeps going. Ive gone a number of levels into it, and I still havent hit the end. For the price, youd think it would be over after a few levels. But no. It keeps going. And going. And going . . . At first, I was thinking that the automatic firing was going to be annoying, but then I realised that I would have been standing on the mouse button pretty much the whole time anyway. Thats what I used to do with 1942. So I guess its not really such a bad idea. Maybe a toggle, so at least I feel like Im the one doing the firing? But anyway, its an addictive game thats worth more than whats being charged. As others have noted, this is a $0.99 app in price tag only. Grab it before they change their mind. And yes, it has elements of Zaxxon, too. And Tyrian. And Raptor. And most of the other scrollers. This ones the best so far.

I agree with another reviewer who said this game is underpriced. The graphics are beautiful, and at the easiest setting, it’s a very fun casual game. Runs just fine on my iMac with 1GB discrete graphics card, but I can’t say how it would run on something with less beefy specs. I like that this game is compatible with my very old Logitech analog gamepad. I’m just worried about the poor game developers who are only charging a dollar for all this goodness. I sure hope they’re at least breaking even on this deal!

Gets boring after about 10 mins of gameplay.

This has ben one of the best go to games I’ve had in years. Graphics and sound effects are an absolute delight, addicting and just plain solidly great entertainment!!!!!!!! It is SO worth the price.
