Solid update for a great game. My favorite shoot-em up in the App Store for Mac OS X Mountain Lion. Glad to see you guys are updating this game. For a price of $0.99 this game is a steal. I have recommended it to all of my college buddies with Macs.

Is there a way to make it so that the plane doesnt shoot by itself? I think it would be better if we could fire on our own...

PRETTY COOL GAME… I need to learn keyboard shortcuts on Microsoft Natural Keyboard. Although I use Apple Keyboard for my iMac. For .99 cents, you definately cant go wrong.

Excellent shoot-em-up, even if its not quite epic enough to merit the relentlessly grandiose background music that sounds like a neverending Dark Knight trailer.

Good application. Love the sound effects and capabilities. Theres a little bit of a funny thing with the fireball. That doesnt seem too realistic to me. A couple of the tanks in the land invasion dont die properly. The +1 and above levels are really hard to get through and bombs dont seem to work properly. You have to bomb something 2-3 time before it dies. Thats a little frustrating given that the game moves pretty fast and the firepower wielded against you is pretty strong. Other than that, the level 1 of all (easy, medium, hard) is a lot of fun.

The game is fun and the graphics are fantastic, but I am still very dissapointed at this game. Whenever I make it to survival mode the game makes me go back to level 1 and I hate that!!!! This has happened 2-3 times. It is not fair that after all my hard work I have to start ALL over again. WHAT IS HAPPENING?! HOW CAN I FIX THIS?!!!!!!!!!!! HELP ME!!!!!:(

Even in the low-cost realm of the App Store, this game is worth far, far, more than the developer is charging. Ive been playing it with a cheap gamepad on my MBP, connected to a Cinema display, and even at the best-quality and highest resolution its smooth, fast, and looks as good as any arcade game Ive ever played. If youre looking for anything remotely like "1942"-style top-down shooting, buy this game now. The last two hours of my life may not be coming back, but they were well worth it. I will admit that some of the more advanced the controls take a bit of getting used to on the gamepad, and dont necessarily match the simple diagrams in the "Help" screen, but they were relatively easy to figure out. (For instance, to fire the special weapons, instead of hitting the gamepad buttons, hold down the right rocker and tap the direction pad.) There are a few other eccentricities similar to games of this type, such as bombs not working on targets the player might think they should, but they do little to detract from the experience. In short, the best game Ive ever played on my mac. Ill be playing for a while. If the developers come to their senses, theyll start charging significantly more for this---buy it at this ridiculous bargain while you can.

I used to play it on my iPhone and now I found its available on Mac App Store. So I downloaded it on my new Macbook Pro. Im quite impressed with it (AMAZING graphics and retina support). Its definitely worth a dollar! :)

If you played 1941 or 42 as a kid then this feels like those old days. I dont have any other games and am not a gamer, but this is awesome!

I really enjoy playing this to kill time. It does just that and is a really fun game. I enjoy the graphics and the play is really smooth. Im happy with this purchase.

This game is very good. It has great sound and graphics and for .99 , how can you go wrong ? U can`t !! Runs great on Retina MPR , but beware of "auto graphics switching" it`s not going to hurt anything , but I feel it would be best to disable your Intel GPU before playing. You don`t have to , but if you don`t it just makes the screen a little crazed. I would highly recommend this game. G.  Up-Date : I can not stress this enough , if you are looking for a quality game , then this is .99 will spent. I have been playing this for a while and I still enjoy it , great game , would like to see more from this developer !
